What Kinds of Convictions Stay on a Person's Record? This is a trick question. The answer is, all convictions against an adult stay on an adult's record until the person reaches age 70 and has no prior convictions for ten years. Otherwise, generally speaking, convictions cannot be expunged. That said, a procedure exists to expunge the charges on one's record, assuming the charges were dropped or othewise resolved short of a conviction. Give us a call and we can discus this further. |
