Is Representation Affordable?

Yes; however, the better question is: can you afford not to have representation. Even in the "simple" cases, clients are typically better served by having counsel to speak for them. This is true for a variety of reasons. First, the lawyer serves as an intermediary who can give added credibility to the defendant as his (or her) supporter.

Plus, even the "simplest" case can get complex. Think of the process by which a woman gives birth. A doctor does not need to be present for every birth; however, when a complication does arises, expert advice becomes invaluable.

Further, we have seen too many clients come to us after having represented themselves only to wish they had retained counsel upfront. We are always willing to help, but we prefer to assist when it will be most helpful: at the beginning of your process through the criminal courts.
